Recognizing the reality of our spiritual adversary, the Devil, and his influence in the world is essential. This awareness equips us to approach life with confidence, understanding that while the Devil and his followers have certain powers, they are ultimately limited and cannot match God’s supremacy.

 

 

The Nature of God vs. the Devil

God's Supremacy:

  • Omnipotent: God is all-powerful. (Psalm 33:9 KJV)
  • Omnipresent: God is present everywhere. (Proverbs 15:3)
  • Omniscient: God is all-knowing. (Psalm 147:5 ESV)

 

Satan's Limitations:

  • Satan is a created being and does not share God’s divine attributes.
  • He is not omnipresent, omniscient, or omnipotent.

 

 

The Devil's Strategy

One of Satan's most effective tactics is convincing people that he doesn't exist. When we dismiss him as a mere figment or underestimate his influence, we become more susceptible to his schemes. His ultimate goal is to weaken our faith by sowing seeds of doubt about God’s goodness, promises, and plans for us.

Those aligned with the Devil, such as witches or other followers, often rely on external tools and devices to observe and target individuals. Unlike God, who is all-seeing and all-present, they lack divine abilities and must resort to these measures. Their purposes include:

  • Launching attacks that may appear as sickness, confusion, fear, or other forms of hardship.

 

 

Empowerment Through Christ

Despite the Devil’s schemes, we must remember that Christ has already secured our redemption. Through His sacrifice, we are no longer slaves to sin or the Devil’s influence. In Christ, we have the power to resist and overcome these spiritual forces. By remaining rooted in faith, prayer, and truth, we can protect ourselves and our loved ones from the enemy’s plans.
